Everyone loves some good activewear, but may not necessarily like the price. Places like Lululemon have pieces that range from $98-130, and their clearance start at $24 and go up (they have headbands for $9). And though it may be affordable to grab a tank top for $24, it’s still a lot for some people. There have also been articles published about how their product may not be as different from others, material wise, and that the only difference is price. But this isn’t an article to bash Lululemon – they’ve got some adorable pieces that would fit perfectly in my closet, and on me.
However, don’t think that there aren’t any other options out there besides Lululemon, and the other name brand activewear stores (Nike, Adidas, etc.), because there definitely are other options out there.
So, with that, check out these five fantastic places to grab gorgeous activewear that won’t kill your wallet.

You have probably heard the term thrown around a lot, and you may be wondering what cross training is. Or better yet whether you are supposed to be cross training, and if so what you should be doing. Let’s take a look at what cross training is, why it’s important and how you can incorporate it into your fitness routine:
If you’re going to be spending any amount of time at the gym, running or working out, you owe it to yourself to invest in some good workout clothes.
And if you have spent any amount of time working out in cotton, you already know what I’m talking about. You’ve experienced the whole, every thing sticking to you and feeling like you’re wearing a soaking wet shirt around the gym (and for hours afterwards) thing.
But just like phone technology has improved, so has fabric and clothing technology. And there are people out there who work to make the best fabrics possible so we can have the best workout.
Sometimes the hardest part about working out is getting to the gym. It takes the extra time, extra transport, and just a little bit of extra planning to make it happen every day.
And sometimes it’s just enough extra that we are inclined to eliminate it altogether and say “oh well, I’ll go tomorrow.” Avoid this step - and the excuses - by working out at home!
Here's 8 workouts that target different parts of your body and include both cardio and strengthening routines for you to try at home:
Fall weather is right around the corner, and if you’re like me, you get jealous of those girl’s with glutes that look amazing in leggings. Having a firm, rounded butt has been an ongoing trend for a few years. It’s not difficult to understand why. Having a firm butt is extremely sexy. Plus, there are many benefits.
Our glutes are the largest muscle group, and almost any lower bodywork that is done, requires the activation of them. Having a strong lifted butt can help ward off back pains and relieve knee pain too. Not to mention, like stated before, having a firm butt is sexy so your sex appeal will rise! Having a little more strength in your booty will also benefit your endurance – since it is essentially the powerhouse of the lower body, the stronger it gets, the stronger the rest of the lower body will.
One downfall is that training the glutes can be extremely hard, and a process that requires some patience.
To kick start that training, let’s take a look at five of the best moves to tone, lift, and round out the butt.
When I say rebounding, what is the first thing that pops into your head? It could be that thing someone does when they’ve just broken up with their significant other, but for others it could mean an entirely different, and healthier, thing.
Urban rebounding is a form of cardio that's growing in popularity.
In an urban rebounding class, everyone jumps on a mini trampoline at a light pace, or at fast intervals, and they can do movements such as walking, jogging, and bouncing. Along with that, rebounding can offer a different variety of classes, making it very enjoyable.
Being healthy isn't just luck, you have to work hard for it. If you want to get healthy, lose weight, or just feel better, you should consider adopting the habits of fit people. If it works for them, chances are it will work for you as well.
Here are 10 Habits of Fit People:
Sitting in front of your laptop, or on the couch can have a lot of bad, long lasting consequences. Not only is there a chance of gaining weight, but also your posture could slowly deteriorate, and you could begin to suffer from back pain more frequently.
It’s no myth that sitting hunched over all day at a desk can cause such awful things, but other consequences could arise.
A study was done at San Francisco State University – students were asked to walk down a hallway, some were told to do it while slouching. Those, the “slouchers,” had reported to feel more depressed than those who had walked with good posture.
Having bad posture can affect your appearance too – by making you look heavier than what you actually are! Another study done at Harvard even showed that having a better posture could help relieve stress.
Not only can having a bad posture possibly lead to those awful consequences, but also it can begin to cause back pain – which, in time, could limit our mobility.
To avoid, or decrease, the chances of developing any of these issues, let’s take a look at three powerful yoga moves that help improve posture and relieve back pain.
