What’s holding you back from reaching your weight loss goals?
As we head into 2016, many people will place losing weight at the top of their list for New Year’s resolutions and goals.
In fact, many people will place that at the top of their list again this year, having set that resolution in 2015, 2014, and maybe even for several years earlier.
The same goal popping up constantly (obviously) shows you have yet to achieve it, and the issue isn’t that you can’t, it’s that you haven’t properly identified what is holding you back. This year, before you make the same resolution again, take some time to look at what the reason may be for why you didn’t reach success last year, and what steps you can take to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

If you’re having time getting into a workout routine and finding something you can stick with consistently, maybe it’s time to look at not what you are doing for your workout, but when you are doing it.
Studies show pros and cons to working out in both the evening and the morning, but really, leading to no conclusive recommended time to get the heart rate up. Really, the best time is the time that is best for you, that you will stick with and that you enjoy the most.

It’s true: the cold weather is right around the corner. And some days, it feels like it has arrived already. I love running outside in the winter, and after last winter’s lessons in running, I’m starting this year with everything in place. And if you add these items to your wardrobe, you can too!

5 Things Nobody Tells You About Working Out
By: Laura Peill – (Check out her blog Chronicles of Passion & Facebook)
You’ve committed to a regular exercise routine. Well done! The benefits will far outweigh any of the negative side effects several times over, but just in case you’re wondering, here’s 5 things nobody tells you about becoming a regular fitness junkie!
You’ll have a lot more laundry – To be honest, I don’t wash my workout clothes near as often as I should. Partly because over the years, I’ve accumulated a lot, so I can leave a little extra time between washing, and partly because it’s hard to keep up sometimes. When you’re throwing in a run and a workout/hot yoga session/cross training session every day, that leaves you with a lot of sweaty clothes. My best suggestion? Find a place in your house to designate as your sweaty clothes drying area, and then create amdrawer in your closet just for workout clothes. Doing these things keeps them all separate from your other clothes and then once a week you can do a load of workout clothes. In addition to your regular weekly load of normal clothes of course.
