How Pizza Can Be Healthy

Pizza is known to be a diet killer, and manages to get a bad reputation because of that. However, pizza isn’t as bad as we make it out to be, especially when we make it ourselves, or know what to order from restaurants. 

There are a lot of tips and tricks to making pizza extremely healthy, or just a little less of a guilty pleasure and more of an enjoyable treat.

If you’re ordering in consider some of these simple tips to reduce any of the negative backlash of eating pizza.

The first is blotting away any oils, which can help alleviate some of the fatty calories in pizza.  The second way to ordering a healthier pizza is what type of crust you ultimately pick. If there are options from wherever you order from, try out some whole wheat or thin crust, and as good as they do try to avoid stuffed-crust and deep dish options. Another tip, and the most vital is portion out the amount of pizza you plan to eat. Clearly it’s not the most healthiest thing to devour an entire 8-cut, but don’t feel you need to limit yourself – consider stopping at maybe three or four slices.
