3 Natural Ways to get Rid of Parasites

3 Natural Ways to get Rid of Parasites

You may not want to hear it, but the truth is, many of us likely have a gut parasite and don’t even realize it.

It is not uncommon to pick up a parasite and have it living inside of us without any indication of it being there, or without experiencing negative symptoms.

This is especially true if you travel regularly.

Boost your gut health and get rid of your parasite by trying one of these 3 natural solutions:

Pumpkin Seeds

You may have thought pumpkin seeds were just a really great source of protein and healthy fats, but it turns out they are also anti-parasitic. Pumpkin seeds are one of just a handful of foods available to us that are considered anti-parasitic.  In order to have them help, you should aim to be consuming the seeds every day.  Simply one to two tablespoons should be adequate.  You can add extra benefits to them by soaking them and activating them, such that they release their phytic acid and are easier to digest by the body.

Garlic

It turns out that this popular cooking ingredient is one of the most amazing natural healing foods we can consume.  Garlic is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and anti-viral.  It helps in body detoxification, eliminates toxins and parasites, and is a strong preventative tool when it comes to trying not to get sick, or to avoid getting the cold and flu virus that seems to inevitably be circulating throughout your house.  If you are going to use it specifically as a therapeutic option however, with the goal of being able to ward off illness or get rid of parasites, simply adding minced garlic it into your dinner will not do.  Many people find success by consuming an entire clove of garlic, or by making a strong garlic elixir using cayenne, ginger and garlic mixed with hot water to drink. And make sure to do it regularly – one time won’t be enough to see results.

Oil of Oregano

This is not a food but is a natural herbal supplement which you can consume to help rid the body of parasites, as well as address other issues such as colds and flus or other viral infections.  In fact, many people swear by oil of oregano in the time leading up to when they think they are getting sick – just add it in to your daily routine and let it go to work.  Like garlic, oil of oregano is any-microbial, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial and once in the gut works to help eliminate viruses, toxins and parasites.  It is very strong tasting, so dilute with water as necessary and read the bottle’s instructions to know how many times per day you can consume it.

Finally, don’t forget to drink plenty of water.  Once your body kills the parasites, it will need to eliminate them and drinking water to help flush them out of your system is the best way to help make sure this is done effectively.  From there, continue to regularly maintain an anti-parasitic diet to ensure you don’t have any return visitors!
