5 Places to Find Affordable Workout Gear

Everyone loves some good activewear, but may not necessarily like the price. But this isn’t an article to bash Lululemon – they’ve got some adorable pieces that would fit perfectly in my closet, and on me.

However, don’t think that there aren’t any other options out there besides Lululemon, and the other name brand activewear stores (Nike, Adidas, etc.), because there definitely are other options out there.

So, with that, check out these five fantastic places to grab gorgeous activewear that won’t kill your wallet.

5 Easy At Home Workouts to Give You a Firm Butt (Videos)

Fall weather is right around the corner, and if you’re like me, you get jealous of those girl’s with glutes that look amazing in leggings. Having a firm, rounded butt has been an ongoing trend for a few years. It’s not difficult to understand why. Having a firm butt is extremely sexy. Plus, there are many benefits.

Our glutes are the largest muscle group, and almost any lower bodywork that is done, requires the activation of them. Having a strong lifted butt can help ward off back pains and relieve knee pain too. Not to mention, like stated before, having a firm butt is sexy so your sex appeal will rise! Having a little more strength in your booty will also benefit your endurance – since it is essentially the powerhouse of the lower body, the stronger it gets, the stronger the rest of the lower body will.

By: Bethany Barich (Follow on Instagram & Twitter)

Sitting in front of your laptop, or on the couch can have a lot of bad, long lasting consequences. Not only is there a chance of gaining weight, but also your posture could slowly deteriorate, and you could begin to suffer from back pain more frequently.

It’s no myth that sitting hunched over all day at a desk can cause such awful things, but other consequences could arise.

A study was done at San Francisco State University – students were asked to walk down a hallway, some were told to do it while slouching. Those, the “slouchers,” had reported to feel more depressed than those who had walked with good posture.

Having bad posture can affect your appearance too – by making you look heavier than what you actually are! Another study done at Harvard even showed that having a better posture could help relieve stress.

Not only can having a bad posture possibly lead to those awful consequences, but also it can begin to cause back pain – which, in time, could limit our mobility.

To avoid, or decrease, the chances of developing any of these issues, let’s take a look at three powerful yoga moves that help improve posture and relieve back pain.
