5 Exercises for Better Sex

Being fit does more than benefit our endurance, flexibility, and balance – being fit can actually make having sex a lot better. With more toned up muscles, sexual gratification can come easier when fit.

So sit back, relax, and read up on these five moves that are sure to help make bedtime a lot more playful.

1. Pelvic Thrusts

Lie on your back with your arms straight down your sides, and your legs bent. While pressing into your heels, engage your glutes and hamstrings by pushing your hips off the ground. When off the ground, hold for a few breaths and then slowly lower. To add a bit more of a challenge, add small pulses while at the top of the bridge pose. Doing this move will strengthen your hamstrings and core, and will make missionary position a lot more enjoyable and easier.

2. Plank Pose

To gain strength in the arms, and manage to have an easy woman on top positioning, practice holding plank pose for an allotted period of time. To add challenges, practice alternating hand to shoulder moves and alternating knee to elbows.

3. Squats

Not only great for toning the booty and the legs, doing squats will build an endurance that’s great for having when it’s the time for the girl to take the top. To do them stand upright with your feet shoulder width apart. From there, keep your heels to the floor by shifting your weight onto them as you bend from the hips and then the knees. Try not to let the knees pass over your ankles – this will help avoid any injury. Add some challenges by doing sumo squats, or pulses during your workouts.

4. Fire Hydrants

Get onto all fours, making sure your knees are below your hips and your arms below your shoulders. Then by engaging both your core and your legs, lift your knee straight out to the side and up – come down from this position with control. After an amount of reps, switch to the other side. This move will open the hips and help improve upper body strength. This will make more exotic sex positions easier, and leave you less sore in the AM.

5. Kegels

Don’t be embarrassed to try these out. Kegels are a type of exercise that focuses on contracting and relaxing the muscles in our pelvis. Improving the strength of these muscles can lead to better sexual satisfaction, and even stronger orgasms! This is an exercise that can be done anywhere, and most doctors suggest doing Kegels at least five minutes every day. Make sure you hold for five seconds, repeat, and then do reps after that.
