I would Definitely appreciate this prize because, after being in a 4 year abusive relationship, I lost 62lbs and was starting to feel good about myself, I was finally leaving he house, finally on some meds to help me with the trauma. I met a seemly sweet guy, who moved me three hours from my family, I was enrolled in school and got a job a really planned to do well for myself Until he also became abusive. I decided I couldn’t do it twice so I chose to move home. After two weeks of being home I found out I was pregnant, this was by no means a sad thing for me. It gave my life purpose some light after a long war it seemed. I started spotting and went to the doctor, the doctor dated my pregnancy at 6w4d I seen her on the ultrasound and her Beaty beat was 122/ min, a strong heart for a little being. I continued to spot for 8 days until I had things get worse I went back to emerg and they told me my cervix is closed but my numbers had only increased from 5000 to 8000 in those 8 days. You are supposed to double every two. I had to go home and wait another 14 hours to go to ultrasound, there they found out that my baby’s heart has stopped beating and I had to go for surgery in an hour. I don’t remember a lot after that but nurses and people around a lot. This happened December 2nd/2014. After all of this I just want the opportunity to at least have some confidence in myself. I think a change in how I dress would help boost my confidence a long with some added wait loss. I’m only 15 lbs from my goal.
